About the Role
The Finance Project Management Intern will support the finance core team to coordinate end-to-end financial project execution, assist with cross-departmental alignment between finance, business, operation and tech teams, collect financial data, track project budget & cost control, and compile regular project financial reports to ensure finance-related projects deliver on schedule and within approved budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Finance PM to arrange weekly project meetings, draft meeting agendas, take detailed meeting minutes, follow up action items and track implementation progress across teams.
- Collect, sort and verify project-related financial data including budget consumption, expense reconciliation, capital expenditure records, update project cost tracking spreadsheets regularly.
- Support monthly/quarterly financial project reporting: compile project financial dashboards, sort supporting vouchers, analyze budget vs actual variance under mentor’s guidance.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication: liaise with business and technology to collect required financial documents, resolve routine document submission delays.
- Help organize project contract filing, classify finance archives, sort invoice and reimbursement paperwork in line with company finance compliance rules.
- Ad-hoc finance and project administrative tasks assigned by Finance Project Manager.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate or postgraduate student majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Project Management or related fields; available full-time for internship at least 3-6 months.
- Basic knowledge of corporate finance concepts (budgeting, cost control, AP/AR preferred); familiar with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, data sorting).
- Detail-oriented, strong sense of data accuracy, able to multitask and follow tight project deadlines.
