About the role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in accelerating growth across our Microsoft Security portfolio and expanding our partner ecosystem.

This is a true new business development role, where your success will come from creating opportunities, opening new doors, and converting conversations into commercial outcomes. You'll focus on building pipeline, acquiring new partners, and driving revenue growth across the Microsoft channel rather than managing an existing customer portfolio.

You'll work closely with Microsoft, partners, and internal teams to identify growth opportunities, influence go-to-market initiatives, and help shape the future of our Security business. We're looking for someone who thrives on creating new opportunities, building strong relationships, engaging key decision-makers, and turning opportunities into results.

Microsoft experience is highly regarded, but it's your commercial mindset, relationship-building ability, and appetite for growth that will set you apart.

What you'll do

  • Accelerate revenue growth and market share across the Microsoft portfolio through the acquisition and development of strategic partner opportunities.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities that strengthen Ingram Micro's position within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Build trusted relationships with partners and key decision-makers to drive engagement, unlock growth opportunities, and influence commercial outcomes.
  • Shape and execute go-to-market and growth initiatives in partnership with Microsoft and internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver against pipeline, revenue, and profitability targets through effective planning, forecasting, and commercial execution.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Extensive new business development experience within the technology industry, with a demonstrated track record of driving pipeline growth and delivering revenue outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities, develop growth strategies, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships and take a consultative approach with customers and partners, understanding their objectives and translating them into commercial opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage and influence key decision-makers.
  • Experience within the technology sector. Microsoft experience is highly regarded.

What’s in it for you

At Ingram Micro, we treat each other with dignity & respect, providing an environment where you are always encouraged to be yourself. We are a collaborative team that likes to challenge the status quo, we understand the importance of work-life balance, encourage our people to grow their careers. You can look forward to working in an exciting, stimulating workplace that provides a range of opportunities where you can make a real difference.

Inclusion, Diversity and belonging lies at the heart of everything we do at Ingram Micro and we are committed to hiring great people with a wide variety of skills, experiences, and backgrounds. We invite candidates of all genders and ages, people with disabilities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTQIA+ and diverse groups.

Finally, you will get the chance to become part of the world's leading Technology Solutions provider. We look forward to hearing from you and how you would like to make a positive difference through the role towards the business.
