Senior Application Engineer (Malaysia)

• Be the technical expert of InsiderSecurity solutions for our users.
• Achieve customer success by understanding user requirements and supporting users to achieve strong cybersecurity with our solutions.
• Advise customers on the deployment architecture and best practices for our products.
• Deploy and configure our solutions in customer data centers or cloud environments.
• Develop and configure use cases to meet user's needs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Support the sales team by conducting technical sales demos and answering technical inquiries during sales.
• Serve as the interface between users and our product engineering teams. This is an excellent role to gain experience and insight into the cybersecurity industry.
• Guide junior application engineers on technical matters.

Requirements

• At least 3 years experience in system administration, cloud administration or IT networking.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Good command of Bahasa Melayu
• Experienced with system and cloud administration (e.g., Windows, Linux, AWS, Kubernetes).
• Experienced with networking.
• Experienced with Python or other high-level programming languages.
• Familiarity with Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with database administration and SQL is a plus.
• Prior experience as an application field engineer or a customer success engineer is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to excel in a collaborative team setting.
• Must be a Malaysia resident.
