Position Overview:

Position Dates: January 11, 2027 - June 30, 2027

The PME Co-op will support the Supplier Development Engineering Project Management Excellence team by improving project visibility, strengthening governance processes, maintaining dashboards and reports, and helping standardize project management tools and documentation. This role will partner closely with PME leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making, process consistency, and continuous improvement across the SDE project portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Support PME dashboards, reports, and project tracking tools by helping validate data accuracy, monitor refreshes, identify gaps, and summarize key portfolio insights for leadership and project teams.

• Assist with Smartsheet, Power BI, SharePoint, Planner, and related system activities, including dashboard maintenance, user support, report updates, and process documentation.

• Create and maintain standard work, playbooks, training materials, and quick reference guides that help project leads and PME users follow governance processes consistently.

• Analyze recurring service tickets, project data, compliance reports, and workflow pain points to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and potential automation use cases.

• Participate in PME and SDE project meetings by capturing notes, tracking action items, following up with owners, and supporting preparation of project updates or review materials.

• Support continuous improvement projects that simplify manual work, improve user adoption, increase reporting consistency, and strengthen governance execution across the project portfolio.

• Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a MS degree in Industrial, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or Engineering related field.

• Must be enrolled in a university program for the duration of the co-op assignment.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

• Strong analytical mindset with interest in project management, process improvement, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.

• Experience or interest in Smartsheet, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, SQL, Python, or other analytics and workflow tools.

• Ability to organize information, document processes clearly, and translate complex workflows into practical guidance for users.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, curiosity, initiative, and ability to work collaboratively.

Physical Requirements (if applicable):

• General office environment. Role requires extended periods of sitting, computer-based work, and virtual/in-person meetings. Possible travel may be required for team meetings, training, or site visits.

Additional Information:

Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $25.00 - $34.00 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
