Salesforce Lead

Responsibilities:

• Guides, mentors and coaches the team members in various development and technical activities.
• Improve and develop software systems to meet users' needs by finding solutions, solving complex problems, coding, testing, debugging and documenting systems. (80% hands on development).
• Actively participate in developer performance reviews, providing structured, meaningful, and constructive feedback.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for business stakeholders, project managers, and architects.
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices and development guidelines across the team.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure quality, maintainability and adherence to standards and best practices.
• Take part in Production Support activities, troubleshooting production issues, performance bottlenecks and identifying fixes for the same.
• Work in a single org with multiple lines of business.
• Lead an initiative involving a development team.
• Take part in all project phases to ensure completion by collaborating with users and communicating status reports.
• Provide deployment support for production systems to guarantee their functionality.
• Ensure systems are optimal and meet quality standards by analysing, providing suggestions and developing assessments.
• Make recommendations and participate in improving development and system maintenance processes.
• Apply the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) development methodology to ensure standards are met.

Requirements:

• A good level of experience in these relevant areas is preferred: Source control using GitHub, Coding using IntelliJ/Eclipse or Visual Studio Code, QA Automation, Testing using Postman, SoapUI, Code quality using Synopsis, deploying with Jenkins, Performance analysis and optimisation, and collaborating in an Agile Scrum/Kanban environment.
• Nice to have knowledge/experience: Git Co-Pilot, Dynatrace, CLM.
• Experience with Service Cloud or Financial Service Cloud.
• Nice to have, but not a must.
• Experience with Marketing Cloud.
• Degree in Computer Engineering / Science or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
• 10 years of software design and development experience. Out of which a minimum of 2-3 years in a Technical lead role, leading a team of 3-6 developers or more.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.
• Proven ability to navigate technical disagreements and drive consensus.
• Highly organised, self-directed, and comfortable managing competing priorities.
• You have 5+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, including extensive work with privacy and sharing settings
• Strong expertise in Apex, Salesforce Lightning Components, JavaScript, and integration patterns.
• Great level of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design experience.
• Experience with App Exchange products and integration.
• Extensive experience working on integrations.
• Strong test-class creation skills.
