Salesforce Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and successful delivery of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. This role requires a strong blend of consulting expertise, technical depth, architecture leadership, and delivery excellence across multiple Salesforce clouds and enterprise ecosystems.

The Solution Architect will partner with business stakeholders, product owners, delivery teams, and technical architects to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, integration patterns, data architecture, development best practices, and modern DevOps methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Architecture & Design :

- Design and architect scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and Salesforce best practices.

- Lead discovery sessions, solution design workshops, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

- Translate business requirements into end-to-end solution architectures covering data, integrations, security, automation, and user experience.

- Define enterprise data models, application architecture, and solution blueprints across Salesforce clouds.

- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with long-term business goals.

Salesforce Platform Expertise :

- Architect solutions across :

1. Sales Cloud

2. Service Cloud

3. Experience Cloud (including LWR-based implementations)

4. Commerce Cloud (exposure and integration considerations)

5. Platform capabilities and custom applications

- Provide guidance on the appropriate use of declarative versus programmatic solutions.

- Review and govern solution designs involving Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and platform automation.

Data & Integration Architecture :

- Design enterprise-grade data models and data governance strategies.

- Define and oversee data transformation, migration, synchronization, and archival approaches.

- Architect integrations using Salesforce integration patterns, APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.

- Collaborate with enterprise technology teams to integrate Salesforce with ERP, marketing, commerce, analytics, and third-party systems.

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and scalability across integrated platforms.

Delivery Leadership & Governance :

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers, administrators, consultants, and technical leads.

- Drive architecture governance, code quality standards, and design review processes.

- Establish and promote SDLC best practices, release management processes, and deployment governance.

- Support estimation, roadmap planning, technical risk assessment, and solution strategy discussions.

- Partner with project managers and delivery leaders to ensure successful execution and adoption.

DevOps & Engineering Excellence :

- Champion CI/CD implementation and Salesforce DevOps best practices.

- Guide teams on source control, branching strategies, automated testing, deployment automation, and release management.

- Promote engineering standards around code quality, security, performance, and maintainability.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase delivery maturity and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications :

- 8 - 12+ years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, including experience as a Solution Architect, Senior Salesforce Consultant, Technical Lead, or equivalent role.

- Strong expertise in Salesforce solution architecture and enterprise application design.

- Deep understanding of :

- Strong experience with :

1. Enterprise data modeling

2. Data migration and transformation strategies

3. Salesforce integration patterns and API-led architectures

4. Apex development and solution design oversight

5. Security architecture and access management

6. Lightning Web Components (LWC) and modern Salesforce development frameworks

- Experience with Commerce Cloud ecosystems and integration considerations.

- Exposure to Experience Cloud LWR (Lightning Web Runtime) implementations.

- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and delivery governance.

- Experience implementing and governing CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with code review processes, quality assurance standards, and engineering best practices.

- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional teams.

- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Salesforce Application Architect certification and/or System Architect certification.

- Salesforce Certified Sharing & Visibility Designer, Data Architect, Integration Architect, or related certifications.

- Experience with enterprise middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica.

- Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation and multi-cloud Salesforce programs.

- Knowledge of Data Cloud fundamentals and integration use cases.

- Experience in consulting organizations serving enterprise clients.

Leadership Expectations :

- Lead and influence architecture decisions across multiple projects and teams.

- Mentor developers, consultants, and technical leads on Salesforce best practices.

- Drive adoption of scalable architecture patterns and engineering excellence.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.
