Oracle APEX Developer

iPivot is looking for a hands-on Oracle APEX Developer with strong PL/SQL expertise and experience integrating Oracle APEX applications with Oracle Fusion Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications, including user interfaces, forms, dashboards, and transaction-processing screens.

- Develop robust PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and error-handling frameworks to support business workflows.

- Build and maintain APEX Interactive Grids, Dynamic Actions, LOV-driven forms, and data-entry screens.

- Work with Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP), staging tables, and database objects to support application data processing.

- Integrate Oracle APEX applications with Oracle Fusion Cloud, particularly Order Management and Inventory, using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and standard Oracle Fusion REST APIs.

- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for APEX-to-system integrations.

- Develop multi-mode transaction screens and dashboards with status tracking, one-click resubmission, and drill-through reporting where required.

- Troubleshoot application defects, database errors, API failures, and data-processing issues.

- Collaborate with client SMEs and QA teams to understand requirements, conduct defect triage, and validate fixes.

- Support application testing, deployment activities, production cutovers, and post-deployment issue resolution.

- Provide off-hours support during critical production cutovers when required.

- Maintain technical documentation, development standards, and reusable application components.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- Hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development, ideally with 5 - 7 years specifically in APEX.

- Strong PL/SQL skills, including packages, procedures, functions, error handling, and database troubleshooting.

- Experience with APEX Interactive Grids, Dynamic Actions, LOV-driven forms, and custom UI development.

- Knowledge of Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP), staging tables, and database-driven application design.

- Experience integrating Oracle APEX with Oracle Fusion Cloud using OIC and standard REST APIs.

- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Order Management and Inventory business processes.

- Understanding of API authentication, application security, and secure system-to-system integrations.

- Ability to independently design, develop, test, and troubleshoot business applications.

- Strong communication and client-facing skills, including collaboration with SMEs and QA teams.
