Senior Accountant, Fund Accounting I Night Shift

THIS ROLE

A review position responsible for validating fund accounting deliverables and ensuring quality standards. This role performs detailed reviews of financial statements and supports complex accounting processes while serving as a technical resource for preparers. The position focuses on quality assurance and maintaining accounting standards across deliverables.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• You'll review financial statements, NAV calculations, and client deliverables
• You'll apply accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• You'll maintain strong knowledge of client-specific requirements
• You'll contribute to and support process improvement initiatives
• You'll provide basic technical guidance to preparers and ensure compliance with established procedures

ABOUT YOU

• You are a CPA (or equivalent) with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, and at least 5 years of experience, including 3 years in fund accounting, financial reporting, or audit focused on complex portfolios and advanced accounting modules.
• You have strong expertise in reviewing financial statements, validating capital calls and distributions, maintaining fund books and records, and ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• You are highly skilled in analyzing complex transactions and operational procedures, with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and quality assurance capabilities.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy, compliance, and high-quality deliverables through effective review and validation.
• You are a collaborative and proactive professional with excellent communication skills, capable of providing technical guidance and constructive feedback, driving process improvements, resolving issues, and performing effectively under pressure with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
