Graphic Designer

Purpose

The Graphic Designer 1role supports multiple global business units in delivering design executions based on marketing plans, strategic initiatives, and project objectives while adhering to established visual guidelines and brand standards. This role reports directly to the Associate Creative Director and works under their guidance, receiving regular direction, feedback, and mentorship to ensure alignment with business objectives and the overall brand vision.

Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of design projects and ad hoc requests from teams across the organization while meeting project objectives and deadlines.

• Translate business requirements and creative direction into effective visual solutions using PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

• Apply established design principles and brand guidelines to create clear, engaging visual communications.

• Design digital assets, infographics, web graphics, iconography, flowcharts, presentations, and basic photo retouching.

• Support the development of creative concepts and present design solutions with guidance from the Associate Creative Director and senior team members.

• Conduct basic video editing tasks and assist with the creation of videos, animations, or motion graphics as needed.

• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and creative leadership to refine and improve deliverables.

Required Knowledge, Experience & Education

• BA or BFA in Graphic Design or a related creative field, with a minimum of 4-6 years of professional design experience.

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Firefly.

• Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and its capabilities for creating visually engaging presentations and communications.

• Understanding of print and digital design best practices and production requirements.

• Basic understanding of website design principles, including foundational knowledge of CSS, HTML, and related technical considerations.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Planner, or Workfront.

• Basic knowledge of video production and editing software, including Adobe Premiere and/or Adobe After Effects, preferred.
