As an Interior Design Draftsman, you will play a vital role in supporting the design and execution of our interior fit-out projects. You will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and joinery details while collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and project teams to ensure the accuracy and clarity of design implementation.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed interior drawings, including layout plans, ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details
- Translate conceptual sketches into precise and well-coordinated technical drawings
- Develop shop drawings and as-built documentation for fit-out works
- Ensure all drawings meet design specifications, local authority regulations, and company standards
- Coordinate with design, architectural, engineering, and site teams to resolve drawing issues
- Update and revise drawings based on client feedback or site conditions
- Organise and maintain drawing documentation and registers
- Assist in preparing material schedules when required
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in interior design drafting and preparing shop drawings, in the UAE/GCC
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or 3Ds Max is an advantage
- Strong expertise in joinery detailing, interior finishes, and materials
- Understanding of construction methods and fit-out coordination
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings
- High attention to detail, time management, and teamwork.
