Solution Architect

As a Solution Architect at ITGOALS, you will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end enterprise application and integration architectures across key banking domains, including lending, payments, digital channels, and core banking systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and technology leaders to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performing technical solutions. You will play a key role in defining architectural standards, driving technology decisions, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and digital transformation objectives.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Design and define end-to-end solution architectures across lending, payments, digital channels, and

core banking systems.

• Translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable application and

integration architectures.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and technical teams to define solution designs and technical approaches.

• Define application architecture, microservices, API integration patterns, and system interoperability standards.

• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and technology guidelines.

• Drive architectural decisions and provide technical guidance to development and integration teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.

• Define and promote reusable architectural components, API standards, and integration best practices.

• Evaluate technologies and architectural approaches to support scalability, performance, reliability, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Ensure proper security architecture across application, integration, and infrastructure layers for both internal and external system exposure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development, application architecture, and enterprise integration architecture.

• Strong experience in application architecture patterns and hands-on enterprise application delivery.

• Strong expertise in enterprise integration architecture, API design, and OpenAPI standards.

• Hands-on experience with IBM API Connect for API management and integration.

• Strong experience designing and implementing Java Spring Boot microservices architectures.

• Practical experience with Camunda 8 and workflow / process orchestration.

• Strong understanding and practical experience with OAuth 2.0 and enterprise security patterns.

• Experience with OpenShift and containerized application environments.

• Strong knowledge of security architecture across multiple layers, covering internal and external application and API exposure.

• Ability to define scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise solutions.

• Strong technical leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

• Banking and financial services domain knowledge is a plus, particularly in lending, payments, and core banking systems.
