Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Under broad supervision, sustains, analyzes, modifies, and integrates robotics, automation, technologies and processes related to equipment and tooling for applicability to programs and products. Troubleshooting on automation system to ensure the operation as per plan. Develops, implements, and tests preventative maintenance plans, interim solutions for damaged and unsafe equipment, and tooling. Investigates and documents engineering changes and controls equipment and tooling configuration in accordance with standard operating procedures. Develops and recommends equipment reliability improvements through the application of reliability engineering tooling.
Education & Experience
Required 2 -5 years of experience in the current field of work, on sustaining/ troubleshooting/ improving of automation system.
Typically College or university degree required

Deliver engineering tasks with increasing autonomy across design, analysis, modification, and integration of automation systems; contribute to solution definition, validation plans, and documentation control; implement preventive maintenance strategies and interim corrective actions; perform measurements, data analysis, and test execution; support change control, configuration management, and continuous improvement activities; align work with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements; engage cross-functional collaborators to integrate designs into operations; maintain structured processes and adhere to established standards for reliability and performance.
