Jack Link's, legally Link Snacks, is an American family-owned maker of protein snacks best known for beef jerky, meat sticks and meat-and-cheese packs. It was founded in 1986 by Jack Link in the north woods of Wisconsin on family sausage recipes brought from Germany, and now sells a house of brands that includes Jack Link's, Lorissa's, Golden Island, BiFi, Peperami and KOOEE. The company runs plants and offices in the United States and Europe, among them the Ansbach site in Germany that produces Peperami and BiFi for European markets.

At Link Snacks, we show up hungry, roll up our sleeves, plaid or otherwise, and dive straight into the hard work. We don’t hide from challenges; we hunt them down. We push harder, move faster, and take the kinds of big swings that built this business in the North Woods of Wisconsin four decades ago.

We’re everyday people who deliver extraordinary results. Innovation, creativity, and urgency aren’t buzzwords, they’re expectations. And just like the real protein snacks we make across our global house of brands: Jack Link’s®, Lorissa’s™ Organic Snacks, Golden Island®, BiFi®, Peperami® and KOOEE!® to name a few, there’s nothing artificial about us. What you see is exactly what you get: humble, gritty, passionate people who show up every day ready to not just be a participate in the meat snack industry that the Link Family created, but to move faster, innovate harder and keep raising the bar so high, the rest of the world needs a ladder just to see it.

Dominating this space across the world takes a team. A team that runs together, succeeds together, and celebrates together. A team that’s full of relentless energy and spirit that can only be fueled by one thing: a fist full of our delicious meat snacks.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience working with security tools, ticketing systems, and operational support processes. In addition to incident response and alert handling, the role will support vulnerability management activities and assist with cybersecurity-related helpdesk tickets, end-user security support, and coordination with infrastructure, network, application, OT, and external security service providers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the security operations environment, including Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, Data Collection Rules, data collectors, data sources, alert logic, and related operational components.
  • Support and maintain MDR, EDR, AV and other security tools across cloud, endpoint, and network security.
  • Perform incident response activities, including evidence gathering, initial scoping, containment coordination, remediation tracking, escalation, documentation, and post-incident follow-up.
  • Identify security gaps in the environment and recommend improvements to the organizational incident response process (playbooks, policies, procedures, etc.).
  • Create security incident reports and present them to business stakeholders to communicate business impact, response actions, remediation status, and lessons learned.
