Job Description:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across automation, intralogistics and material handling markets
- Build and manage the sales pipeline, driving opportunities through the full sales cycle.
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers and identify opportunities for growth
- Understand customer challenges and develop commercially viable technical solutions
- Work with engineering and project teams to develop proposals, concepts and commercial offers
- Present automation and systems integration solutions to customers and stakeholders
- Negotiate commercial terms and drive opportunities through to contract award
- Monitor market trends, competitors and emerging technologies
- Achieve business development and sales targets
- 3-5 years’ experience in business development, technical sales or solution sales
- Proven track record of developing new business and achieving sales targets
- Experience selling technical solutions, capital equipment or engineered systems
- Automation, material handling, intralogistics or related industry experience advantageous
- Strong commercial, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand technical requirements and communicate solutions commercially
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to take ownership of the full sales process
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Willingness to travel to customer sites
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or a related technical field
- Additional technical qualifications advantageous
