Our client is a leading provider of engineered industrial solutions, renowned for delivering world-class products and services to some of the largest players in the petrochemical and gas industries. As part of their continued growth strategy, they are looking for a commercially savvy Business Development Manager to drive market expansion and secure high-value contracts.This is not an account management role. We're looking for someone who enjoys the thrill of identifying opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and consistently closing new business. The successful candidate will be responsible for uncovering untapped opportunities, introducing technical solutions to key stakeholders, and becoming a trusted partner to customers across the industry.

Education:
- Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in business development or technical sales within the compressor industry.
- Proven success selling compressor solutions into the petrochemical, oil & gas, refinery, chemical, or process industries.
- A demonstrated history of winning new business and achieving aggressive sales targets.
- Strong understanding of rotating equipment, compressor technologies, and industrial applications.
- Established network and relationships within the petrochemical and gas sectors would be advantageous.
- Ability to engage confidently with plant managers, engineers, procurement teams, and executive decision-makers.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and commercial skills.
- Self-managed, driven, and motivated by achieving results.
- Hunter mentality with a passion for prospecting, market development, and closing deals.
- Willingness to travel and engage clients across multiple regions.
