Commercial Logistics Administrator

• Grade 12
• Diploma/Degree in freight, logistics or similar advantageous
• Minimum of 3 years' solid experience in and understanding of fruit exports
• Excel and Produce Linc
• Attention to detail imperative and excellent prioritizing and problem solving skills
• Strong administration and communication skills
• Availability over weekends is essential

• Ensure all necessary export documentation are processed and received from and sent to the relevant parties ie pack houses, receivers, freight forwarders, etc
• Daily communication and monitoring of the documentation process
• Ensuring all logistics data is up to date and maintained in Produce Linc
• Slot management for all service providers and customers, and follow up process to completion to ensure no delays
• Communicate arrivals and documentation to all customers
• Assisting commercial members to ensure operational tasks proceed as normal
• Communicating and executing loading instructions to various loading depots
• Book collection and drop-off slots for all DDP trades with clearing agents and communicate plans to relevant receivers for delivery slots and arrivals, follow up the process to completion to ensure no delays
• Mail and communicate all arrivals and documentation for DDP trades with clearing agents and receivers
• Sending of weekly freight reports (Container on Water Report, Vessel and Container Status Report, Documentation Process, ect)
• Weekends on stand-by if any loads are planned
• All other standard functions over and above these listed are required that relate to logistics in fruit exports
