Minimum Requirements
- B.Com
- 5 years’ relevant experience
- Strong experience in product costing
- Background in mining, manufacturing or FMCG
- Audit experience advantageous
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical capabilities
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Manage and maintain accurate product costing
- Analyse production costs, variances and cost drivers
- Monitor and report on manufacturing and operational costs
- Perform cost analysis to support pricing and profitability decisions
- Prepare costing reports and provide meaningful financial insights
- Investigate variances and identify opportunities for improved cost efficiency
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Assist with audit requirements and ensure strong financial controls
- Collaborate with operational teams to improve costing accuracy and cost management
- Strong analytical and numerical ability
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of profitability
- Confident working with large volumes of data
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Resilient and adaptable
- Able to operate effectively in a fast-moving, demanding environment
