Data Analyst

If you're a Data Analyst who enjoys going deeper than dashboards, building models, validating assumptions, and uncovering insights that actually influence decisions, this role gives you the opportunity to work where data, strategy, and business impact meet.

Our client operates in a data-driven, performance-focused environment, where analytics plays a central role in shaping business strategy, financial insight, and operational decision-making.

You'll join a collaborative analytics function working closely with business stakeholders and BI teams to deliver structured analysis, predictive modelling, and actionable insight across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse structured datasets to identify trends, drivers, and performance insights
• Translate business questions into analytical frameworks, KPIs, and data requirements
• Develop and apply statistical and predictive models (regression, clustering, forecasting)
• Collaborate with BI teams to ensure accurate and meaningful dashboards and reports
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
• Generate insights that highlight risks, opportunities, and performance trends
• Support metric definition, reporting logic, and governance standards

Requirements:

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or similar
• Postgraduate or specialised certifications advantageous
• 5 years' experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, or applied analytics
• Proven experience working with large datasets and business reporting environments
• Experience building and validating predictive models in production environments
• Exposure to financial services or performance-driven industries advantageous
• Strong capability in Python or R for statistical modelling (pandas, scikit-learn, tidyverse)
• Solid SQL, Excel, and Power BI (or similar) for data interrogation and reporting
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, predictive modelling, and data analysis techniques
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, business-relevant insights
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity
