Responsibilities:
Detailed drawings in line with customer and sales requirements.
Generation of General Arrangement Drawings.
Generation of detailed drawings for assembly of work packages.
Detailed manufacturing drawings to be completed using tolerance guidelines to ensure items are manufactured correctly.
Conduct FEA analysis on designed items.
Do reaction force calculations.
Generation of Bills of Materials for all orders.
Drawing revisions in line with design improvements or customer changes.
Checking and reviewing of drawings in line with information provided by sales/customer.
Manage the workload in the drawing office, keeping staff informed of progress if there are delays.
Keeping up to date with the drawing standards.
Assisting suppliers with drawing related questions.
Ensuring drawing register is up to date.
Administration of all paperwork in line with Company policies
Ensure Zero Defect in all aspects of daily activities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as draughts person in Mechanical Design.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher from an accredited institution.
Solidworks experience.
