Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct daily client visits and business development activities.
- Make a minimum of 6 customer visits per day.
- Identify and develop new sales and project opportunities.
- Procure and specify project sales and follow up throughout the project lifecycle.
- Present products, solutions and new offerings to clients.
- Keep up to date with product knowledge, industry developments, competitor offerings and market trends.
- Provide clients with excellent service, product support and technical assistance.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, proposals and other administration accurately and on time.
- Provide regular sales feedback and market insights to management.
- Manage appointments, diary and customer follow-ups effectively.
- Distribute marketing and product information to clients where required.
- Attend meetings, respond to customer enquiries and process orders efficiently.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Take on ad hoc projects and duties as required.
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Valid South African driver's licence.
- Residing in Johannesburg.
- 3+ years' proven sales experience within the electrical industry is highly advantageous.
- Strong product and technical knowledge within the relevant industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills.
- Computer literate with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- SYSPRO experience will be advantageous.
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel extensively to clients.
