Financial Controller

Job description:

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts
• Review Income Statement and Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and controls
• Manage VAT reconciliations, submissions and payments
• Oversee the fixed asset register and related reconciliations
• Manage annual audit requirements and liaise with external auditors
• Support cash flow management and treasury-related activities
• Lead and mentor junior finance team members

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ of relevant accounting and reporting experience
• Strong financial reporting and reconciliations experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Qualification :

• BCom Accounting or related degree
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles
• CA(SA) advantageous
