Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Operations & General Ledger Leadership: Direct end-to-end accounting workflows, compiling month-end management account packs and ensuring absolute reporting accuracy.
- Group Consolidations & IFRS Compliance: Lead and review complex multi-entity group consolidations, upholding strict compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and statutory regulations.
- FP&A, Budgeting & Strategic Forecasting: Drive enterprise budgeting cycles, rolling cash flow forecasts, and long-term financial modeling to guide executive decision-making.
- Audit Oversight & Risk Governance: Oversee internal and external audit engagements, strengthen internal financial control frameworks, and manage key banking and advisory relationships.
- Team Development & Executive Decision Support: Lead, mentor, and elevate a high-performing finance team while translating complex datasets into actionable strategic insights for board-level leadership.
- Professional Qualification (Non-Negotiable): Active qualification as a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) is an absolute prerequisite.
- Academic Background: Completed Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related commercial discipline.
- Experience Track Record:
- 5 to 8 years of progressive, reference-backed post-articles finance experience.
- A minimum of 4 years operating directly in a Financial Manager capacity.
- Technical Domain Competencies (Non-Negotiable):
- Proven, hands-on experience executing complex group consolidations is a strict prerequisite.
- Expert-level command of IFRS technical reporting, statutory taxation, and corporate governance frameworks.
- Non-negotiables: Proven leadership and people management capabilities, elite analytical problem-solving skills, and the communication confidence required to engage effectively with executive stakeholders under tight deadlines.
- Direct experience within commercial property, real estate investment trusts (REITs), or property funds.

- Practical systems experience operating on MDA Property Manager ERP software.
