Group Financial Accountant
You'll join a specialist property group operating across the commercial and industrial market, with a portfolio spanning warehouses, factories, offices, retail and new developments. The business works across the property lifecycle, from sales and leasing through to valuations and property management, creating a finance environment with plenty of variety.
For you, this is an opportunity to step into a role where your group accounting experience can stretch beyond the usual reporting cycle. You'll gain exposure to different sides of the property business, work closely with an experienced team and get a much closer look at the commercial decisions that influence the performance of the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review group financial reporting and consolidations
- Manage intercompany accounting and related reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Analyse financial results and investigate variances
- Assist with audit and statutory reporting requirements
- Contribute to improving group accounting processes and controls
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
- SAICA or SAIPA articles completed
- Minimum 2 years' post-articles experience
- Property industry experience essential
- Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP systems exposure
