Minimum Requirements
- Relevant IT / Information Systems / Computer Science / Network Administration / IT Support qualification.
- 3-5 years’ practical IT Technician / IT Support experience.
- Hands-on Zoho administration experience - MANDATORY.
- Practical MDM experience - MANDATORY.
- Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
- Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365/Office experience.
- Working knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, backups and IT asset management.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the organisation’s IT environment.
- Administer and support the Zoho ecosystem / Zoho One, including users, roles, permissions, workflows, reports, dashboards and integrations.
- Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM), including device enrolment, configuration, daily monitoring, compliance, security alerts and remote administration.
- Monitor and manage company smartphones, tablets and other supported devices, including lost/stolen or non-compliant devices.
- Provide hands-on hardware and software support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and peripherals.
- Support Windows and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365, email, cloud applications and user access.
- Provide first-line support for LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches and internet connectivity.
- Support databases, backups, data access and system integrity.
- Monitor antivirus/endpoint protection and assist with cybersecurity, MFA, phishing prevention and information protection/POPIA requirements.
- Maintain the IT asset register, licences, warranties, equipment allocation and offboarding/decommissioning records.
- Liaise with external IT suppliers/service providers and escalate complex technical issues.
- Provide Management/CEO with IT status reporting covering MDM compliance, incidents, assets, backups, cybersecurity risks, connectivity and system issues.
