JUNIOR SYSTEM SUPPORT CONSULTANT – FINANCIAL PLANNING / WEALTH MANAGEMENT

Minimum Requirements

• A relevant completed Bachelor’s Degree is essential i.e:
  • Financial Planning.
  • Investment Management.
  • Economics and Risk Management
  • Investment / Financial Analysis.
• Bilingual - Afrikaans and English (Must be able to serve clients in Afrikaans).
• Recent graduates and candidates with limited working experience are encouraged to apply.
• A genuine interest in the Wealth Management and Investment industry is essential.
• Comfortable working with calculations, financial information and systems.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn complex financial planning and investment concepts.

Role Overview

You will receive exposure to the practical application of financial planning, investments, retirement products, portfolio information, and wealth management principles while learning how these concepts are applied within the system.

The position would suit a graduate who enjoys problem-solving, working with systems and numbers, and assisting clients, but who still wants to remain closely involved in the financial services industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and email support to Financial Advisers using the Wealth Management platform.
• Assist users with system-related queries and functionality.
• Investigate and resolve queries relating to financial planning information and calculations.
• Assist with investment, portfolio and financial planning-related system queries.
• Interpret financial information and assist users in understanding system outputs.
• Troubleshoot software-related issues and escalate technical matters where required.
• Develop a strong understanding of the company’s Wealth Management software.
• Build knowledge of financial planning principles, investment products and financial markets.
• Assist Financial Advisers in navigating and using the system effectively.
• Deliver professional, accurate and client-focused support.
• Maintain accurate records of queries and resolutions.
• Build strong working relationships with Financial Advisers and other Wealth Management professionals.
• Ensure queries are resolved efficiently while maintaining excellent service levels.
