Job Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer, the successful candidate will play a critical role in architecture, solution design, software development, and technical delivery across multiple initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop scalable software solutions using modern engineering practices
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to deliver innovative business solutions
  • Modernise existing platforms and reduce dependency on legacy systems
  • Build flexible applications that can evolve alongside changing business requirements
  • Take ownership of technical delivery and software quality
  • Implement clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles, OOP best practices, and design patterns
  • Conduct code reviews and champion engineering excellence
  • Drive automated testing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical challenges
  • Mentor developers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team
  • Work closely with local and international stakeholders on impactful projects

Skills & Experience:

Front-End Development

  • Minimum 4 years' experience with React and TypeScript
  • Experience integrating applications with RESTful APIs
  • Exposure to Material UI, Tailwind CSS, and responsive design principles will be advantageous

Back-End Development

  • Strong .NET C# development experience
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • MS SQL development experience, including queries, stored procedures, jobs, and administration
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests
  • Proven track record designing, building, deploying, and supporting production-grade software

Qualification:

  • Relevant Degree, Diploma, or equivalent Software Engineering experience
  • Proven experience delivering complex software solutions in a Senior Software Engineer capacity
