Software Engineer (C++)

As a C++ Software Engineer, you will work as part of an Agile SCRUM team responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining complex software applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing new features and functionality using C++ and Microsoft Visual Studio
• Analysing business and system requirements to determine optimal technical solutions
• Designing, coding, testing, and documenting software applications
• Maintaining existing software and resolving defects
• Collaborating closely with developers, testers, and support teams
• Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving customer-reported issues
• Researching new technologies and development approaches
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and development best practices
• Developing an understanding of specialised engineering and infrastructure-related software solutions

Skills & Experience:

• Strong C++ development experience
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop high-quality, maintainable code
• Experience working within an Agile SCRUM environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for continuous learning and technology

Qualification:

• BSc Computer Science, or
• BEng degree with a strong mathematics focus
