AdTech Security Analyst - English

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a AdTech Security Analyst - English based in India.

This role focuses on authorized security testing across advertising technology platforms, business logic, workflows, and related infrastructure. You will apply your understanding of digital advertising and AdTech environments to uncover weaknesses, unexpected behaviors, and gaps in system controls. Working within a clearly defined testing scope, you will design challenging scenarios that assess how platforms respond to unusual conditions and potential misuse. Your analysis will help identify risks affecting campaign operations, account access, credentials, and platform integrity. The position combines AdTech knowledge with security testing, risk analysis, and detailed documentation. Your findings will contribute to strengthening platform security and protecting critical advertising and revenue-related processes.

Accountabilities:

• Conduct authorized testing of AdTech platforms, advertising workflows, business logic, and related infrastructure within the approved project scope.
• Design and execute challenging test scenarios to identify weaknesses, control gaps, inconsistencies, and unexpected system behavior.
• Review advertising workflows, campaign processes, and system controls to identify potential security, operational, or misuse risks.
• Assess potential weaknesses affecting campaign operations, account access, credentials, platform integrity, and related business processes.
• Analyse business logic and system processes under different conditions to identify unintended outcomes or control deficiencies.
• Assess legacy systems and infrastructure when they fall within the defined testing scope.
• Analyse security and testing findings to determine their potential impact on advertising operations and platform security.
• Identify recurring patterns, weaknesses, and areas requiring additional testing or investigation.
• Document test scenarios, findings, supporting evidence, and potential business or operational impact clearly and accurately.
• Follow established security procedures, project requirements, testing methodologies, and authorized scope at all times.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality throughout testing and reporting activities.

Requirements:

• Educational background or equivalent professional experience in AdTech, Digital Advertising, Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Professional experience working with digital advertising platforms, AdTech systems, advertising operations, or related technology environments.
• Strong understanding of digital advertising workflows, campaign operations, and the way AdTech platforms function.
• Experience in system testing, quality assurance, risk analysis, fraud prevention, security testing, or a closely related field.
• Ability to analyse complex business logic, system processes, platform workflows, and control mechanisms.
• Demonstrated ability to identify weaknesses, gaps, inconsistencies, unexpected behavior, or potential misuse scenarios.
• Understanding of account security, access controls, authentication, and platform security concepts is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to investigate complex scenarios methodically.
• Ability to evaluate the potential business and operational impact of identified security or system weaknesses.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills, including the ability to clearly present findings and supporting evidence.
• Ability to work independently while following defined project requirements, procedures, and authorized testing boundaries.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when analysing systems and documenting results.
• Professional proficiency in English.
