This is a high-energy sales role focused on connecting local and regional advertisers with opportunities to reach student audiences through live events and fairs. You will own outbound prospecting, lead engagement, pitching, negotiation, and deal closing across a defined market. The role combines structured sales frameworks with the autonomy to build relationships and uncover new commercial opportunities. You will work toward clear revenue and conversion targets while maintaining accurate CRM data and consistent follow-up. As the business expands its offering across the full academic year, you will play an important role in growing its advertiser network and supporting U.S. market expansion. Accountabilities:
- Lead Sourcing: Proactively identify and research local and regional businesses located near student fair venues and build a strong pipeline of prospective advertisers.
- Outbound Sales: Conduct high-volume outbound calls and follow-up emails to introduce advertising opportunities, generate interest, qualify prospects, and move potential clients through the sales process.
- Pitching & Negotiation: Use established sales scripts, frameworks, and value propositions to communicate the benefits of reaching student audiences, overcome objections, negotiate effectively, and close new business.
- Target Achievement: Consistently work toward and exceed individual and team KPIs, including revenue, conversion, activity, and other agreed sales performance targets.
- CRM & Sales Administration: Accurately record prospect interactions, opportunities, follow-ups, and outcomes in the CRM and maintain high standards of data quality and pipeline visibility.
- Follow-Up & Pipeline Management: Prioritize prospects effectively, manage follow-up activity, and ensure opportunities continue progressing through the sales cycle.
- Team Collaboration: Partner closely with sales leadership and colleagues to share market insights, successful approaches, challenges, and strategies for improving conversion and achieving team goals.
- Sales Experience: Previous experience in outbound sales, business development, telemarketing, or another target-driven commercial environment is preferred.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage prospects, articulate value clearly, handle objections, and negotiate commercial opportunities.
- Resilience & Drive: A positive, persistent attitude and the ability to handle rejection professionally while maintaining motivation and consistent sales activity.
- Organization: Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple prospects, follow-ups, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
- Target Orientation: Comfortable working against measurable KPIs and revenue objectives in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment.
- CRM & Data Skills: Proficiency with spreadsheets, data-entry tools, CRM systems, and sales performance tracking software. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM, or Salesforce is a plus.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a startup environment where priorities can evolve quickly and individuals are expected to take ownership, learn continuously, and contribute to team success.

- Compensation: $70,000 annual compensation.
