Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Afterhours Driver Support Specialist based in Germany.

Join a fast-paced logistics environment where you will play a critical role in supporting drivers during afterhours operations. As a key point of contact during night shifts, you will help resolve operational challenges quickly and keep drivers moving toward their destinations. You will work closely with dispatchers, drivers, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear and timely communication. The role combines customer support, problem-solving, logistics coordination, and technology in a fully remote setting. You will use transportation management systems and internal communication tools to investigate issues and identify effective solutions. Each shift is supported by at least one additional team member, creating a collaborative environment even during late hours. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives under pressure and enjoys making a direct operational impact.

Accountabilities

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers experiencing operational issues during afterhours and night shifts.
    • Listen to drivers' concerns with empathy, assess situations quickly, and provide practical and efficient solutions.
    • Assist drivers with load, receiver, shipper, routing, and other transportation-related issues to help keep operations on schedule.
    • Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to identify load numbers and retrieve relevant shipment information.
    • Contact brokers and other relevant stakeholders when additional instructions, clarification, or support is required.
    • Coordinate through internal communication channels such as Slack, tagging the appropriate dispatchers and drivers to ensure information reaches the right people quickly.
    • Maintain clear and accurate communication throughout each issue and follow through until an appropriate resolution is reached.
    • Work collaboratively with at least one other team member during each shift while remaining capable of taking ownership of issues independently.
    • Identify recurring challenges and contribute to improvements in afterhours driver support processes.
    • Requirements

      • Previous experience in sales, telephone customer support, logistics, transportation, dispatch, or a related field.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex or time-sensitive information clearly.
      • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly when working under pressure or with incomplete information.
      • Empathetic and customer-focused approach when interacting with drivers and other partners.
      • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
      • Comfortable using computer software, communication platforms, and transportation or logistics systems.
      • Ability to quickly learn and navigate TMS platforms and other digital tools.
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling multiple issues simultaneously.
      • Willingness to work 8-hour afterhours/night shifts, including weekends. Weekly rest days are provided but may fall on weekdays rather than Saturday and Sunday.
      • Availability to work remotely from Poland.
      • Benefits

        • Fully remote position.
        • Comprehensive two-week paid training program, including a $150 per week training stipend.
        • Competitive compensation with an attractive commission structure.
        • Up to 10 days of paid PTO per year.
        • Opportunity for career growth and advancement within a rapidly growing organization.
        • Collaborative, international, and high-energy working environment.
        • Support from at least one additional team member during each shift.
        • Opportunity to develop expertise in logistics, transportation operations, and driver support.
        • Exposure to modern communication and transportation management technologies.
        • Culture focused on creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
