Analista I Contábil (Temporária)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista I Contábil (Temporária) based in Brazil.

This is a temporary opportunity for a professional to contribute to a modern, increasingly analytical accounting environment.

You will support core accounting routines while helping ensure accuracy, governance, and efficiency across financial operations.

The role involves managing provisions, performing detailed reconciliations, and executing accounting reclassifications.

You will work closely with financial data and enterprise systems, including SAP, while collaborating with different stakeholders.

The position is well suited to someone highly analytical, organized, and comfortable working against strict closing deadlines.

You will also have the opportunity to leverage data skills and technology to support process improvements and automation.

The assignment is expected to last approximately 7 to 8 months, covering a parental leave period.

Accountabilities

• Manage monthly provisions, including reversals and the clearing of accounting entries, ensuring accurate expense recognition and a clean general ledger.
• Perform detailed and complex accounting reconciliations, investigating variances and correcting discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.
• Analyze and execute accounting reclassifications, ensuring transactions are correctly allocated across cost centers, balance sheet accounts, and income statement accounts.
• Operate SAP ERP on a daily basis to execute accounting routines and support the financial closing process.
• Use Google Workspace to maintain controls, prepare reports, organize financial information, and support accounting activities.
• Use Slack to communicate and coordinate with team members and stakeholders, ensuring timely alignment on accounting matters and closing activities.
• Contribute to a data-driven and efficiency-focused accounting environment by identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related accounting discipline.
• Solid practical experience with accounting closing routines, provisions, reconciliations, and accounting reclassifications within medium-sized or large organizations.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies, identify accounting impacts, and work accurately with financial data.
• Highly organized profile with strong attention to deadlines and the ability to operate effectively within structured financial closing schedules.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Collaborative communication style and ability to build effective working relationships with different teams and stakeholders.
• Experience using SAP ERP for accounting processes.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and digital collaboration tools.
• SQL knowledge for data extraction and cross-checking is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and automation initiatives is considered an advantage.
• Active professional accounting registration (CRC) is considered a plus.
