This fully remote leadership role will drive commercial intelligence, analytics, and data governance initiatives that directly support revenue growth and sales effectiveness.
You’ll lead a small team while owning business intelligence strategy, reporting, CRM optimization, and commercial data quality.
The role combines hands-on analytics expertise with strategic partnership across Sales, Finance, Operations, and other business functions.
You’ll turn complex business requirements into scalable dashboards, technology solutions, and actionable performance insights.
Your work will improve forecasting accuracy, pipeline visibility, decision-making, and the overall effectiveness of commercial operations.
You’ll also help shape CRM and commercial systems while strengthening standardized processes and data governance.

Accountabilities
- Lead the regional Commercial Business Intelligence strategy, including ownership of Power BI reporting, analytics, dashboards, KPIs, and performance insights.
- Manage and develop two direct reports, providing direction, coaching, and support to deliver high-quality commercial intelligence solutions.
- Develop analytics and reporting capabilities that support revenue growth, forecasting accuracy, commercial effectiveness, and data-driven decision-making.
- Own and govern commercial data ecosystems, ensuring accuracy, integrity, consistency, and reliability across CRM, ERP, pricing, customer, product, and opportunity data.
- Drive the strategic roadmap for CRM and commercial systems, including enhancements, integrations, workflows, adoption, and standardized processes.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, and other business leaders to translate business requirements into scalable analytics, reporting, and technology solutions.
- Manage sales incentive compensation programs, including incentive planning, performance tracking, reporting, and analytics.
- Identify data, process, and system gaps and address root causes behind reporting inconsistencies, forecasting challenges, and other commercial inefficiencies.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen data quality, operational effectiveness, and commercial decision-making.
- Improve pipeline visibility and forecasting inputs by developing reliable reporting structures and actionable performance insights.
- Lead cross-functional transformation projects involving business intelligence, CRM, commercial systems, data, and sales processes.
- Communicate key findings, recommendations, trends, and performance insights to commercial and executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Customer Service, Pricing, Legal, HR, IT, and other relevant functions to align data and technology capabilities with business priorities.
- Travel approximately 10% of the time, including occasional overnight travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, CRM management, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience supporting sales organizations and improving revenue performance through data and analytics.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, SQL, KPI reporting, and commercial analytics.
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or comparable systems.
- Strong understanding of commercial reporting, sales funnels, pipeline analytics, forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Proven ability to improve pipeline visibility, forecasting inputs, data quality, and reporting reliability.
- Experience leading cross-functional transformation initiatives involving data, technology, CRM, or commercial processes.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and the ability to establish reliable, standardized commercial data practices.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence Sales leaders, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a practical, results-oriented approach to identifying root causes and developing solutions.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable working across multiple departments and levels of an organization.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple strategic priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience communicating with senior management and departments such as Sales, Customer Service, Pricing, Legal, HR, IT, and corporate leadership is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10% as required.
- Competitive annual salary of $115,000-$125,000.
