Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content Writer, Investment Research based in Canada.

This role combines investment expertise, research, and exceptional editorial judgment to create content that helps clients make sense of markets and their broader financial lives. You’ll own flagship investor insights, develop financial planning resources, and produce timely market commentary for wealth management clients. Working closely with investment specialists and editorial partners, you’ll turn complex financial concepts and research into clear, engaging, and actionable content. You’ll need strong market awareness and the curiosity to identify meaningful insights amid a constant flow of information. AI tools will support your editorial workflow, while your human judgment, reasoning, and voice remain central to the work. It’s an opportunity to shape how investment knowledge is communicated to a large and growing client audience.

Accountabilities

    • Own monthly investor insights, creating high-quality, evergreen content that explains important market developments and why they matter to clients.
    • Produce client-ready due diligence questionnaires and investment materials with a strong balance of accuracy, clarity, and accessibility.
    • Develop general investment advice and financial planning content that helps clients connect investment principles with their broader financial goals and decisions.
    • Write timely, thoughtful market notes for wealth management clients when significant market events or developments require a direct response.
    • Research new investment topics, market developments, and emerging ideas, synthesizing complex information into original insights that provide value beyond automated content.
    • Apply strong editorial judgment to identify worthwhile topics, separate meaningful signals from noise, and determine the most effective structure and narrative for each piece.
    • Use AI-powered tools to refine, edit, and improve standard content while retaining ownership of the core analysis, argument, structure, and editorial perspective.
    • Collaborate with investment professionals and cross-functional editorial teams to remain connected to market developments, client questions, and evolving financial priorities.
    • Consistently deliver polished, client-ready work while managing multiple priorities independently and meeting deadlines.
    • Requirements

      • Strong understanding of investment principles and portfolio concepts, with the ability to recognize meaningful investment insights even when you are not responsible for building financial models.
      • Solid financial literacy and familiarity with financial planning concepts, enabling you to address clients’ broader financial circumstances beyond investment markets alone.
      • Demonstrated ability to write clear, engaging, accurate, and client-ready financial content for a sophisticated audience.
      • Strong research and synthesis skills, with genuine curiosity about markets, investments, economic developments, and emerging financial topics.
      • Excellent editorial judgment, including the ability to identify compelling ideas, structure persuasive arguments, curate relevant information, and improve content beyond the original brief.
      • Strong awareness of financial markets and the ability to translate current developments into relevant, accessible content rather than generic commentary.
      • Comfortable using AI tools to polish and refine content while maintaining independent thinking, originality, and editorial quality.
      • Highly self-directed, reliable, organized, and capable of consistently delivering high-quality work with limited oversight.
      • Familiarity with Canadian wealth management, financial planning, or retail investment products is an advantage.
      • An existing portfolio of published financial writing demonstrating investment expertise, strong editorial voice, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly is a plus.
      • Benefits

        • Base salary range of CAD $116,000-$145,000, with actual compensation determined by skills, experience, and role level.
        • Permanent employees receive equity compensation in addition to base salary.
        • Clear job levels and market-based salary bands designed to support fair and consistent compensation.
        • Top-tier health benefits and life insurance.
        • Long-term group savings with an employer match.
        • 20 vacation days and 4 wellness days annually.
        • Unlimited sick and mental health days.
        • Ability to work outside Canada for up to 90 days per year.
        • Employee resource groups supporting community, inclusion, and belonging.
        • Remote-friendly working environment with collaboration across North America.
        • Opportunities to work alongside talented investment, editorial, product, and technology professionals.
        • Support for continuous learning and professional growth.
        • Commitment to an inclusive and accessible workplace, with reasonable accommodations available throughout the hiring process.
