The Customer Marketing Manager will drive growth by helping existing customers discover additional solutions, capabilities, and use cases.
This role sits at the intersection of marketing, customer success, sales, and product, translating customer needs into impactful expansion programs.
You will use customer insights, product usage data, and account intelligence to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
The position combines campaign strategy, content development, customer advocacy, events, and performance analytics.
You will own programs tied directly to pipeline and revenue goals, with clear accountability for measurable commercial outcomes.

Accountabilities
Develop and execute targeted customer marketing campaigns designed to increase cross-sell, upsell, product adoption, and expansion revenue across the existing customer base.
Analyze customer, account, and product usage data to segment audiences, identify whitespace opportunities, and prioritize high-potential expansion opportunities.
Create compelling customer-facing content, including solution spotlights, use cases, case studies, success stories, newsletters, email campaigns, and webinar materials.
Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and other internal stakeholders to align customer marketing programs with account priorities, customer needs, and commercial objectives.
Own and report against annual cross-sell and upsell pipeline and revenue targets, tracking engagement, conversion, influenced pipeline, and expansion revenue.
Use campaign and customer performance data to continuously improve targeting, messaging, content, and program effectiveness.
Design and deliver customer expansion programs, including webinars, product education initiatives, and other experiences that encourage broader solution adoption.
Lead customer-focused events and webinars that strengthen engagement, build community, and showcase product capabilities and innovations.
Own the customer advocacy program, identifying satisfied customers and developing opportunities for references, testimonials, case studies, and customer storytelling.
Develop and maintain programs that strengthen customer retention and deepen long-term relationships throughout the customer lifecycle.
Communicate campaign performance, insights, opportunities, and recommendations to sales and executive stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on customer marketing, customer engagement, or lifecycle marketing in a B2B environment.
Experience in software, technology, SaaS, or a related industry is preferred.
Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management, retention strategies, customer engagement, and expansion marketing best practices.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing successful marketing campaigns with measurable business outcomes.
Experience working toward defined revenue or pipeline targets and communicating performance against those targets to senior stakeholders.
Strong content development and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to customer needs, challenges, and use cases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing.
Proficiency with HubSpot and Salesforce.
Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to interpret customer and campaign data to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Highly organized, proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Salary range of $92,500-$119,000 per year, depending on skills, education, experience, and work location.
Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base compensation.
