Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Patient Services Patient Strategy based in the United States.

The Director, Patient Services Patient Strategy will lead the development and execution of a patient services strategy supporting the U.S. commercial launch of a late-stage CNS therapy. This high-impact leadership role will shape how patients and care partners are supported from referral and onboarding through treatment preparation and ongoing follow-up. You will help design compliant, scalable patient journeys while supporting potential REMS requirements and launch readiness. Working across Regulatory, Legal, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and other commercial functions, you will translate strategy into operational capabilities. The role combines strategic leadership, operational design, analytics, and cross-functional influence in a fast-moving pre-commercial environment. You will also lead and develop Patient Services teams while helping establish processes that enable exceptional patient experiences and sustainable execution.

Accountabilities:

    • Develop and execute the Patient Services strategy supporting the successful U.S. launch and commercialization of the therapy, aligning initiatives with broader corporate and commercial objectives.
    • Design, refine, and operationalize end-to-end patient and care partner journeys, from referral and onboarding through treatment preparation, ongoing support, and long-term follow-up.
    • Partner with Compliance and internal and external stakeholders to support the development and implementation of potential REMS requirements, ensuring appropriate education, processes, and compliance throughout the patient experience.
    • Translate Patient Services strategy into scalable operating models, workflows, business requirements, CRM capabilities, reporting frameworks, and digital solutions.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tools, automation, and digital engagement to improve patient experiences, operational efficiency, and proactive support.
    • Lead launch readiness activities, including SOP development, training, operational testing, governance, and cross-functional launch planning.
    • Develop external engagement materials and internal training resources to ensure patient-facing teams are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to support patients and comply with applicable requirements.
    • Oversee the promotional review process for patient-facing materials, ensuring alignment with regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
    • Use patient, market, program, and operational data to identify opportunities and drive measurable improvements in patient and departmental outcomes.
    • Lead and develop direct reports, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture and ensuring Patient Services teams are prepared for launch and ongoing execution.
    • Partner across Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Compliance, Regulatory, Legal, and other functions to align engagement strategies and translate market insights into actionable plans.
    • Contribute to the broader Patient Services leadership agenda and help establish a strong, scalable department culture and operating model.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
      • Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 5 years of Patient Services experience.
      • Proven experience designing and implementing Patient Services operating models and supporting the U.S. launch of pharmaceutical products.
      • Strong understanding of Patient Services compliance, legal requirements, and the development and review of internal and external materials, including promotional review processes.
      • Experience supporting highly regulated therapies, with REMS or comparable controlled-substance/drug-scheduling experience strongly preferred.
      • Experience with Patient Services CRM platforms, workflow design, and process development; familiarity with digital and data-driven patient engagement capabilities is valuable.
      • Ability to synthesize complex clinical, market, customer, and operational information into clear, actionable strategies.
      • Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage senior leaders, agencies, and external partners.
      • Solutions-oriented, intellectually curious, and comfortable leading through ambiguity in a pre-commercial environment.
      • Experience in CNS, psychiatry, specialty pharmaceuticals, or other complex treatment categories is preferred.
      • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams while establishing a strong culture of accountability and collaboration.
      • Willingness and ability to travel as required, averaging approximately 10-20%, with increased travel expected during key launch periods.
      • Benefits:

        • Base salary range of $180,000-$235,000 per year, with compensation determined by skills, experience, and geographic location.
        • Eligibility for additional compensation, including bonus and equity opportunities.
        • 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents.
        • 401(k) program with company match, with vesting beginning after the first month following your start date.
        • Flexible time off.
        • Generous parental leave.
        • Additional fringe benefits and employee perks.
