Jobgether is an AI-powered job platform focused on remote and flexible work. It matches candidates with relevant roles using skills and preference-based algorithms, and also offers career coaching and job-search guidance.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager, Growth & Developer Experience based in Canada.

This is an early-stage product leadership opportunity focused on transforming how developers evaluate, adopt, and experience an emerging agent-native technology platform.

You’ll own the evaluation journey end to end, from first interaction through initial technical success and ultimately a production decision.

The role blends product management, developer experience, growth, analytics, and close collaboration with engineering and go-to-market teams.

You’ll use data, customer conversations, and hands-on observation to identify friction and turn high-touch processes into scalable, self-guided product experiences.

Your work will directly influence SDKs, CLI onboarding, documentation, templates, APIs, and other critical developer-facing surfaces.

You’ll operate with significant autonomy in a small, distributed team where there is no established playbook and experimentation is encouraged.

This is an opportunity to help define the product and evaluation motion for a new category while working at the frontier of AI agents, identity, and access infrastructure.

Accountabilities

    • Own the complete evaluation journey, from initial discovery and onboarding through the first credential exchange and the eventual production decision, defining clear stages, milestones, and success criteria.
    • Establish and monitor evaluation metrics that give Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams a shared view of progress, conversion, friction, and adoption.
    • Own the developer experience surrounding evaluations, including SDK quickstarts, CLI onboarding, console setup, technical documentation, and template repositories.
    • Reduce time to first credential exchange by identifying the biggest sources of developer friction and partnering with engineering to address them through product improvements, better defaults, clearer errors, improved documentation, or other targeted interventions.
    • Transform manual field-engineering and solutions workflows into scalable, self-guided experiences such as evaluation guides, reference architectures, in-product guidance, and reusable templates.
    • Run experiments across the evaluation experience, measure their impact, and quickly discontinue approaches that do not improve outcomes.
    • Spend significant time with developers and teams conducting evaluations by observing onboarding sessions, reviewing support conversations, participating in technical walkthroughs, and understanding why prospects disengage.
    • Partner with Developer Relations and Marketing to improve how evaluations begin, and collaborate with Sales and field engineering to determine when human support is most valuable.
    • Advocate for developer ergonomics in API and CLI design discussions, ensuring technical decisions support intuitive and efficient developer experiences.
    • Work closely with engineering and founders in a high-autonomy environment to identify opportunities, define priorities, and ship improvements quickly.
    • Requirements

      • Proven product management experience with a developer-focused product where evaluation, adoption, or activation were meaningful success metrics, ideally across developer tools, infrastructure, APIs, security, or related technical platforms.
      • Strong technical fluency and credibility with engineering teams, including the ability to understand SDK quickstarts, participate in API design discussions, and investigate product data using SQL or analytics platforms.
      • Excellent product and developer-experience judgment, with a strong eye for usability across CLI workflows, documentation, error messages, defaults, onboarding, and technical interfaces.
      • A data-driven approach to product development, starting with instrumentation and ensuring the necessary data exists before forming hypotheses about user behavior or evaluation drop-off.
      • Hands-on experience using AI tools and a strong understanding of the rapidly evolving agent ecosystem, with genuine curiosity and informed opinions about emerging technologies.
      • Comfort working in an ambiguous category without an established playbook, including the ability to identify which questions matter most and determine practical ways to answer them.
      • Strong written communication skills, particularly for creating product requirements, problem statements, documentation, experiment plans, and readouts that enable others to act.
      • A bias toward action, with the ability to prioritize practical improvements and ship meaningful fixes rather than relying solely on long-term strategy.
      • Experience working closely with customers and cross-functional teams in an environment where autonomy, ownership, and direct communication are highly valued.
      • Engineering experience is a strong advantage, particularly if you have previously shipped production code and understand the implications of technical decisions.
      • Experience productizing high-touch processes such as field playbooks, proof-of-concept guides, or solutions-engineering workflows is highly desirable.
      • Familiarity with identity and authentication concepts such as OAuth, OIDC, token exchange, and delegation, or emerging agent protocols such as MCP and A2A, is a plus.
      • Experience with product analytics, experimentation platforms, lifecycle messaging, developer documentation, quickstarts, or templates that have been adopted by real users is beneficial.
      • Benefits

        • Market-competitive salary with a generous equity package featuring a 4-year vesting schedule and 1-year cliff.
        • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and paramedical coverage for you and your family.
        • 4 weeks of vacation, 11 statutory holidays, and 1 volunteer day annually.
        • Encouragement to take at least 2 weeks away from work each year to fully recharge.
        • Fully remote-first environment with a strong emphasis on asynchronous collaboration.
        • Flexibility to work remotely across North and South America, depending on role requirements.
        • New MacBook Pro and a $500 stipend for peripherals.
        • Access to leading AI tools and resources to support an AI-native way of working.
        • Significant autonomy and ownership within a small, highly collaborative team.
        • Opportunity to work directly with founders, customers, and experienced builders in an emerging technology category.
        • Exposure to the frontier of agent-native systems, identity, security, developer infrastructure, and AI-powered software.
