The Revenue Systems Lead will provide senior technical leadership across a complex revenue technology ecosystem.
This role owns architecture, integration strategy, governance, and the long-term reliability of critical business systems.
Working as a senior individual contributor, you will partner closely with Revenue Operations, Engineering, Security, Business Systems, and external vendors.
You will translate business priorities into scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions that support growth.
The role offers significant influence over technical standards, platform strategy, operational readiness, and technology investments.
You will also mentor engineers and help teams navigate complex architectural decisions without direct people-management responsibility.

Accountabilities
- Own the architecture and technical strategy for revenue systems and related platforms, ensuring they remain scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with evolving business needs.
- Establish and maintain standards covering integrations, APIs, security, governance, documentation, supportability, and operational readiness.
- Lead integration strategy across connected platforms, improving reliability, data flows, platform connectivity, and overall system performance.
- Partner with Revenue Operations and business stakeholders to translate requirements, priorities, roadmaps, and desired outcomes into effective technology solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, enterprise platforms, vendors, and technical approaches, providing recommendations that balance long-term technical excellence with practical business outcomes.
- Assess architecture tradeoffs, dependencies, technical risks, and security considerations, clearly communicating recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
- Drive initiatives that improve platform stability, technical governance, operational readiness, simplification, optimization, and scalability across the revenue technology ecosystem.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers supporting revenue technologies while influencing teams without relying on formal management authority.
- Support cross-functional technology decisions and help establish sustainable architecture standards and governance frameworks.
- Contribute to enterprise software evaluations, vendor selection, technology due diligence, security reviews, and governance assessments as required.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise business systems, platform engineering, systems architecture, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Deep experience with Salesforce and broader revenue technology ecosystems, with strong knowledge of enterprise integrations, APIs, data flows, security, identity and access management, and platform governance.
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable, maintainable, secure, and supportable enterprise technology solutions.
- Experience partnering closely with Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Customer Operations, or comparable business functions on requirements, prioritization, roadmaps, and outcome measurement.
- Strong understanding of revenue systems architecture, technical strategy, systems integration, middleware, platform connectivity, and cross-platform problem solving.
- Proven ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs, identify risks, and influence decisions across technical and business teams.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, or comparable revenue platforms; familiarity with tools such as LeanData, Gong, Marketo, 6sense, Ada, Ironclad, or Playvox is a plus.
- Experience with security reviews, governance assessments, operational readiness evaluations, enterprise software selection, or technology due diligence is preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, strategic planning, and technical documentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and provide senior technical leadership without direct people-management responsibility.

- Candidates must currently reside in one of the eligible U.S. states for this remote position: CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MN, NC, NY, OH, OK, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, or WV.
- Annual base salary range of $99,000-$132,000, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training.
