As Sales Manager, you will drive commercial growth across the West of India while helping expand access to advanced hearing solutions.
You will build trusted relationships with surgeons, audiologists, therapists, patients, and other healthcare stakeholders across the territory.
The role combines sales leadership, clinical engagement, customer education, and hands-on technical support.
You will have a direct impact on customer experience, professional advocacy, and the development of the regional market.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities, strengthen clinical partnerships, and execute territory strategies.
The position is highly field-based, requiring significant travel and the ability to work independently while staying connected with a broader team.

Accountabilities
- Drive sales revenue and commercial targets across the West India territory by implementing effective business and marketing plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ENT surgeons, audiologists, therapists, patients, clinics, and other key healthcare professionals.
- Visit customers and recipients to understand their hearing journeys, provide guidance, strengthen trust, and identify opportunities such as upgrades and bilateral implants.
- Provide product, technical, clinical, and surgical support through in-person, digital, email, and telephone channels, including troubleshooting and guidance on device programming and candidacy.
- Provide expert support to professional partners in operating rooms during procedures and help ensure appropriate use of equipment and instruments.
- Identify market opportunities, understand customer needs, monitor competitive activity, and use market intelligence to strengthen territory and account strategies.
- Develop new clinical partnerships and support the opening and growth of clinics within the territory.
- Build and maintain customer advocacy and volunteer networks, working with recipients and healthcare professionals to strengthen awareness and market development.
- Partner with marketing, customer service, operations, and other internal teams to deliver events, resolve customer needs, and execute sales initiatives effectively.
- Train and support surgeons, operating-room teams, audiologists, and therapists, identifying capability gaps and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Promote best practices around early intervention, patient referral, evaluation, surgery, and post-implantation care to help improve customer outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, real-time customer information and activity records in Salesforce CRM.
- Prepare timely sales reports, forecasts, account plans, and territory updates.
- Ensure all commercial and customer-facing activities comply with applicable company policies, laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related technical discipline, including Electronics Engineering, BTech, or BSc, from a reputable institution.
- 5-6 years of sales experience, preferably gained within a multinational organization.
- Previous experience in medical devices, implantable solutions, ENT surgical solutions, or a related healthcare environment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of sales, business development, relationship management, and territory planning.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English, together with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse healthcare stakeholders.
- Ability to speak and understand the relevant local language for the assigned territory.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, customer-focused approach, with demonstrated empathy for customers and an ability to understand their individual needs.
- Effective problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills, particularly when handling complex customer or clinical situations.
- Strong organizational skills, initiative, prioritization, and a demonstrated sense of urgency.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, with travel expected to reach approximately 60% across the assigned territory.
- Ability to build professional relationships with senior healthcare professionals and develop long-term customer advocacy.
- An MBA is desirable, as is experience with surgical, clinical, technical, or implantable hearing solutions.
