Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Medical Writer - Promotional Medical Writing based in the United States.

The Senior Medical Writer will develop high-quality, medically accurate content that supports pharmaceutical and life sciences clients across a range of promotional and medical communication initiatives.

This role serves as a key content partner, translating scientific evidence and complex healthcare information into clear, engaging, and strategically aligned materials.

You will work across resources such as value proposition slide decks, advisory boards, internal training materials, and other print and digital communications.

The position combines scientific research, medical writing, literature analysis, strategic collaboration, and client engagement in a fast-paced agency environment.

You will partner with account, creative, and other internal teams to ensure content meets client objectives, scientific standards, and applicable review requirements.

The role also offers opportunities to mentor junior colleagues, contribute to new business efforts, and support projects across the healthcare and managed markets landscape.

This is a remote U.S. opportunity with occasional travel for client meetings.

Accountabilities:

    • Deliver projects according to established timelines while managing multiple priorities and deadline-sensitive assignments.
    • Work closely with account teams to refine content and ensure deliverables remain aligned with strategic objectives and client requirements.
    • Communicate medical and scientific content clearly with internal teams and pharmaceutical clients as needed.
    • Maintain professional, proactive, and collaborative communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Participate in medical, legal, and regulatory review meetings and incorporate feedback as appropriate.
    • Attend project kickoffs, status meetings, client meetings, brainstorming sessions, and internal content reviews.
    • Contribute medical writing expertise and strategic ideas to new business proposals and tactical planning for assigned accounts.
    • Mentor and support junior-level medical writing staff, sharing expertise and helping strengthen team capabilities.
    • Travel occasionally to support client meetings and other business needs.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related discipline.
      • A bachelor’s degree in English combined with experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company, healthcare advertising, or a comparable environment is also considered.
      • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in medical communications, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or a closely related industry.

      • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and with clients.
      • Team-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable working with limited supervision.
      • Experience gathering and summarizing healthcare business, scientific literature, and insights for managed care audiences is preferred.
