Accountabilities:
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Developer Platform team, you will help build and evolve the internal platform that supports engineering productivity, reliable delivery, and scalable software development. You will collaborate across teams to automate workflows, improve infrastructure, and create standardized paths for building and deploying secure applications.
- Contribute to the design, development, and improvement of developer platform capabilities, working alongside engineers to deliver impactful technical solutions.
- Improve CI/CD systems, build pipelines, and developer workflows to increase reliability, speed, and overall engineering productivity.
- Help scale AI-powered development platforms by improving agent observability, retrieval workflows, context engineering patterns, and production reliability.
- Build and maintain standardized platform foundations that enable teams to onboard quickly and ship products efficiently.
- Identify repetitive engineering challenges and automate manual processes to reduce developer effort and operational overhead.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and engineering decisions that improve platform quality and scalability.
- Partner with engineering teams to establish best practices around delivery performance, automation, and operational excellence.
- Contribute to improving engineering metrics and outcomes through data-driven enhancements aligned with modern development practices.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer with experience building production systems, developer platforms, and cloud infrastructure. You should be comfortable working in fast-moving environments, solving ambiguous technical challenges, and collaborating with teams across an organization.
- 4+ years of experience building and operating production services, developer platforms, or infrastructure systems in modern cloud environments.
- Strong programming experience with Go (Golang) or the ability to quickly become proficient.
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD systems, container-based workflows, and scalable build and release infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, automation, and modern software delivery practices.
- Strong interest in AI-driven engineering workflows, including LLM-based automation, agentic systems, or context engineering approaches.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams to identify inefficiencies and build solutions that improve productivity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to contribute effectively to technical discussions and cross-functional initiatives.
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth environment with ambiguity, ownership, and a focus on measurable improvements.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience scaling GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows, Buildkite, or similar workflow automation systems.
- Familiarity with developer productivity frameworks such as DORA or SPACE metrics.
- Experience working with large codebases, monorepos, and related build tooling.
- Knowledge of software supply chain security, container ecosystems, Kubernetes, OCI standards, or open source communities.
- Experience gathering feedback from internal engineering teams and turning insights into platform improvements.
