This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Service Contract Customer Support Specialist based in India.
This role is responsible for managing service contract administration from activation through maintenance, correction, extension, and termination. You will play an important part in ensuring contracts are accurately processed, invoices are resolved efficiently, and revenue-related activities are completed on time. Working closely with Service Inside Sales, finance, and commercial stakeholders, you will provide responsive support and help maintain smooth contract operations. The position combines customer support, contract administration, billing coordination, and ERP-based processes. You will also investigate discrepancies and ensure corrections are handled in line with established policies. Accountabilities:
- Manage end-to-end service contract administration, including activation, maintenance, extensions, corrections, and terminations, while ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Process service contract corrections, including credit and rebilling activities, in accordance with internal policies and financial guidelines.
- Investigate, resolve, and close disputed service contract invoices by coordinating with relevant service, finance, and commercial stakeholders.
- Support Service Inside Sales by responding to contract-related inquiries through email and providing accurate, timely information.
- Maintain extended warranty commitments and related contract updates at Point of Sale (POS).
- Ensure service contract records and billing information remain accurate and up to date within relevant ERP systems.
- Support timely and accurate revenue recognition by maintaining strong attention to contract data, billing activities, and required corrections.
- Collaborate across customer support, finance, sales, and operations teams to resolve issues and maintain efficient contract processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in service contract administration, customer support, order management, contract operations, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as Oracle or similar platforms, particularly in relation to service contracts, billing, and revenue processes.
- Experience handling service contracts, extended warranties, maintenance agreements, or similar commercial arrangements is desirable.
- Previous experience supporting Service Inside Sales or other commercial teams is a plus.
- Exposure to invoice dispute resolution, credit processing, rebilling, or related financial operations is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing contracts, invoices, financial information, and customer requests.
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, particularly when collaborating with internal stakeholders and responding to customer or sales inquiries.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
