Senior developer - PS Innovations (JavaScript , Node.JS or Python)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Developer - PS Innovations (JavaScript, Node.js or Python) based in India.

This role combines software development, data engineering, analytics, and customer-facing delivery to build solutions for complex enterprise environments. You will work closely with business customers, data science teams, professional services, and engineering to understand requirements and turn them into scalable technical solutions. The position involves designing and optimizing data pipelines, real-time analytics solutions, and high-quality data models. You will also contribute to application development using modern cloud technologies, particularly across AWS environments. Your work will directly support customer outcomes while helping continuously improve reporting, analysis, automation, and solution quality. This is an opportunity to work across multiple projects in a global environment while developing expertise in cloud, data, and customer experience technologies.

Accountabilities:

• Engage directly with business customers to understand requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and provide clear communication throughout delivery.
• Collaborate with customer and internal data science teams across data discovery, extraction, loading, transformation, analysis, and interpretation of results.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve data pipelines using sound data modeling and ETL/ELT practices.
• Define and apply data-quality processes to cleanse, validate, and verify the integrity of customer and internal datasets used for analysis.
• Build, optimize, and maintain high-quality data and analytics models, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and actionable insights.
• Develop cloud-based applications and integrations using technologies such as AWS Lambda, ECS Fargate, EKS, Docker, SQS, and related services.
• Work with professional services and engineering teams to deliver customer-specific requirements and communicate customer feedback, issues, and feature requests.
• Develop and maintain real-time analytics solutions using Elasticsearch, Kibana, and related technologies.
• Create meaningful reports, visualizations, demonstrations, and presentations that clearly communicate technical findings to both technical and business audiences.
• Perform knowledge transfer and documentation for customers and internal teams to support adoption and long-term solution sustainability.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities independently while maintaining quality, responsiveness, and delivery commitments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across reporting, analysis, development processes, and overall solution delivery.
• Collaborate effectively across global teams while adapting to different cultures, languages, time zones, and customer schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, software development, or a closely related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and real-time analytics technologies.
• Strong application development experience using a major cloud platform, particularly AWS, with additional exposure to Azure or GCP considered valuable.
• Hands-on development experience with JavaScript, Node.js, Python, or comparable programming technologies.
• Strong experience with data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, and data pipeline engineering.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, JSON, and cloud-based application development.
• Hands-on AWS development experience with services such as Lambda, ECS Fargate, EKS, Docker, SQS, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Snowflake, Tableau, or ELK technologies is desirable.
• Experience developing or integrating solutions with contact center platforms such as Genesys, Avaya, Cisco, or similar technologies is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to independently deliver projects, manage multiple priorities, and switch effectively between different projects and technical challenges.
• Strong curiosity and passion for data quality, analysis, querying, modeling, and continuous technical improvement.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to explain complex technical and analytical concepts clearly to both technical specialists and business leaders.
• Comfortable working in a global, collaborative environment with flexibility to adjust working hours when required to support customers and distributed teams.
