Our client, a growing professional services firm in the South of Malta, is looking for a Finance & Client Operations Executive to join their team.
This is a broad, hands-on role with significant exposure to clients and the leadership team, spanning client reporting, finance, and day-to-day operations. You will gradually take over client responsibilities from a senior team member and help ensure deadlines are met and work progresses smoothly. The right person will take on increasing responsibility and become a key part of how the firm manages larger client relationships and internal operations.
Please note that only candidates already living in Malta will be considered.
This is an office based role and offers a salary of up to €30K.
Role & Responsibilities
Manage client reporting and related deliverables
Prepare, review, and coordinate financial and management reports
Monitor incoming emails and requests, prioritising and resolving them in a timely manner
Collaborate with a senior team member and gradually take over tasks and responsibilities
Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure deadlines are met and work progresses smoothly
Gather and coordinate the information and documentation required for client assignments
Assist with accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and other finance-related work
Maintain accurate, well-structured, and up-to-date records, trackers, and process documentation
Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual work
Education, Skills & Experience
Formal education in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
Previous experience in Malta in accounting, finance, audit, client services, or a similar professional environment is preferred
Analytical and confident working with financial information
Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken
Able to speak comfortably with clients and senior team members
Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
Proactive mindset and willingness to take responsibility rather than wait for instructions
Multitasker with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
Excellent MS Office skills especially Excel
