• Define and maintain the technical vision for the project, ensuring alignment with long-term scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Lead architectural reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools to support delivery goals.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the delivery team.
• Ensure architecture and delivery comply with SAMA regulations and security standards
• Lead and inspire a large, multicultural team of engineers, architects, QA specialists, and delivery managers across multiple time zones.
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for all technical contributors.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning across all teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams and locations.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with client stakeholders, business owners and program managers, ensuring alignment between technical execution and business objectives.
• Maintain a strong onsite presence to build trust, gather real-time feedback, and drive alignment.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for executive stakeholders.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of all project milestones.
• Promote agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
• Identify and implement delivery accelerators, including reusable components, automation, and process optimizations.
• Proactively identify technical and delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Establish and enforce quality assurance processes, including code reviews, testing standards, and release protocols.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee technical integration and governance of third-party vendors and fintech partners.
• Ensure effective handling of other vendors or 3rd party integrations and what they bring.
• Provide structured, data-driven updates on progress, risks, and feedback to internal leadership and client stakeholders.
• Maintain clear documentation of decisions, designs, and delivery metrics.
• Collaborate and coordinate with the Chief Governance and Legal Officer (CGLO) on all governance, legal, and compliance matters, including licenses and contractual obligations and oversee the execution to mitigate risks and protect the company's interests.
• Ensure transparency and alignment across all levels of the organization
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies that can enhance delivery efficiency and product innovation.
• Explore the use of AI tools and techniques, such as intelligent automation, code generation, and predictive analytics, to improve development velocity and decision-making.

• 15+ years of experience in senior technical leadership roles, ideally including CTO or equivalent responsibilities.
• Proven experience in Banking or Fintech industries.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex technology projects across distributed teams.
• Deep expertise in software engineering, systems architecture, and agile delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working across cultures and geographies.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
• Willingness and ability to be based onsite in Saudi Arabia for the duration of the project.
