DHW/BI Developer - Snowflake + Tableau

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented DHW/BI Developer with expertise in Snowflake and Tableau to join our remote team. As a DHW/BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse solutions and business intelligence dashboards using Snowflake and Tableau. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization, along with hands-on experience in Snowflake and Tableau. This is a remote position that offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, including data modeling, schema design, and ETL processes.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake.
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize data insights and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues, gaps, and inconsistencies, and implement solutions to address them.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements in all data warehouse solutions and BI dashboards.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Snowflake databases and Tableau dashboards to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Document technical specifications, data models, and ETL processes for reference and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data warehousing, business intelligence, Snowflake, and Tableau.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data warehouse developer or business intelligence developer, with hands-on experience in Snowflake and Tableau.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Experience with data modeling concepts and techniques, including dimensional modeling and star schema design.
• Proficiency in ETL tools and processes, with experience in tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Matillion.
• Hands-on experience in developing Tableau dashboards and reports, including data visualization best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
