What you will do

A Johnson Controls Service Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert. You will alleviate concerns the customer may have regardinga security system. You will advisecustomers and the customer care center of the status of systems and processesinspections. You will repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems, Card Access systemsand other security equipment. This Technician will be set up with all ofthe tools and equipment needed to work independently from a remote location.Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service relateditems. As a trusted advisor to our customersyou will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service

How you will do it

As a Commercial Service Technicianyou will locateand alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring; readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation; prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs. You will also coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies. Service Technicians will be responsible forthe service and repair Commercial security/Fire Alarm/CCTV/Card Access systems.Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facilityis running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.

Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

What we look for

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum3-4years’ experience installing and inspecting/repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.

• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras

• HIRSCH Certificate

• Excellent communication skills.

• Electrical/Electronic background.

• Valid driver's license.

Preferred

• Fire alarm experience preferred.

• Some collegepreferred.

• NICET II or greater preferred.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $24 - $32 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
