Area Sales Manager Cement & Aggregates

Overview

TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for an Area Sales Manager - Cement & Aggregates, based at our Headquarters in Athens, Greece. The position reports directly to the Domestic Sales Director.

The primary scope of this role is to lead and develop the performance within the assigned geographical area, delivering sustainable growth in sales, market share, profitability, and cash collection while strengthening TITAN’s customer relationships and market position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the area sales plan in line with the company’s commercial strategy, ensuring the achievement of volume, revenue, margin, and market share targets.
• Lead, coach, and develop the sales team, setting clear objectives and promoting accountability, collaboration, and strong field presence.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, partners, and market stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Manage pricing, commercial terms, contract negotiations, and customer account plans within the approved commercial framework.
• Monitor market trends, construction activity, customer needs, and competitor developments, translating insights into actionable commercial opportunities.
• Prepare sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports, analyzing deviations and implementing timely corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Production, and Technical Support to ensure product availability, effective delivery planning, and service excellence.
• Partner with Finance and Credit Control to assess customer creditworthiness, monitor exposure and overdue balances, and support timely collections.
• Drive the development of the Cement and Aggregates portfolio, identifying and pursuing opportunities in major infrastructure, industrial, energy, and construction projects, while developing new customers, channels, and opportunities for value-added and lower-carbon solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, credit procedures, competition law, and health and safety requirements across all commercial activities.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification will be considered an asset.
• At least 8 years of relevant B2B sales experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a sales leadership role.
• Experience in cement, aggregates, construction materials, heavy industry, or a related sector will be strongly preferred.
• Proven track record in regional sales management, budget delivery, pricing, negotiations, and key account development.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret market data, sales performance, forecasts, and credit exposure.
• Demonstrated people leadership and coaching capabilities, combined with sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-oriented and results-driven approach, with the ability to identify and convert market opportunities into profitable growth.
• Fluency in Greek and English, along with strong digital literacy and experience using MS Office and CRM tools.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area; fulfilled military obligations, where applicable.
