Production Supervisor

At Kepak Ballybay, we're looking for a motivated and people-focused Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of production operations, lead high-performing teams, and play a key role in delivering quality products in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
As Production Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while creating a positive and engaged working environment for your team.
Working Hours & Shifts
This role will work on a 4 day working shift pattern which will include both morning and evening shift
Monday - Saturday
Morning Shift: 5am-3:15pm
Evening Shift: 3:15pm - 12:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily production activities to ensure targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to specification.
- Drive high standards of food safety, quality, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor production performance, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Promote a strong health & safety culture and ensure safe working practices are followed.
- Supervise, coach, and develop production teams to maximise performance and engagement.
- Track key KPIs including output, efficiency, waste, downtime, and quality.
- Work closely with maintenance, planning, and warehouse teams to support operational success.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and cost control.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, FMCG, or a similar production environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety, and quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and production systems.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
