We are currently seeking a Human Resources Intern who will report to the Human Resources Generalist as part of our dynamic team in New York.

This opportunity will allow you to gain experience within a luxury brand that will support you for your next endeavor and future career. You will gain a well-rounded overview of Human Resources as a whole and learn to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

How you will contribute:

• Support with daily coordination of recruitment efforts (i.e. post open positions in compliance within Company and legal guidelines, sourcing appropriate candidates, and facilitating meetings with hiring managers.

• Support with tasks in Excel & HRIS systems; reporting, auditing and inputting data when needed.

• Perform background and reference checks for new hires and review with HR Coordinator and HR Managers for hiring decisions.

• Partner with VP HR & HR Coordinator to complete special projects on an as-needed basis.

• General administrative duties (filing, resume database maintenance, etc.).

Who you are:

• Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint

• Able to work in a team environment

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to take initiative and perform tasks in a self-sufficient manner

• Excellent communication and writing skills

• Knowledge with Workday preferred

• Able to work in our NYC corporate office

• Available 32 hours a week

• Students MUST be able to receive academic credit for this paid internship.

Salary- New York:

• Salary of $17.00/hr.
