Executive - Video Editing

MetaGO is a science-backed, doctor-supervised weight management platform focused on helping people improve their metabolic health through personalised medical care, diagnostics, nutrition and clinically guided weight-loss solutions.

We are looking for a Video Editor who can transform raw footage, scripts and creative ideas into engaging, high-quality videos for social media, performance marketing and brand communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit performance marketing videos, Instagram Reels, testimonials, UGC, doctor-led content and brand videos.
• Create engaging edits with strong hooks, pacing, storytelling and CTAs.
• Work with scripts, briefs and raw footage to create compelling video narratives.
• Use B-roll, motion graphics, text animation, sound design and transitions effectively.
• Create multiple versions of videos for A/B testing and performance marketing.
• Repurpose long-form content into short-form content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts and paid campaigns.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, performance marketers, doctors, coaches and the wider creative team.
• Ensure all videos follow MetaGO's brand guidelines and visual language.
• Stay updated with social media trends, UGC formats and emerging video styles.
• Manage project files, footage, assets and final exports in an organised manner.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional experience as a Video Editor.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics.
• Good understanding of short-form content, Reels and performance marketing videos.
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, typography, composition and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to understand a creative brief and execute edits independently.
• Good understanding of hooks, audience retention and CTAs.
• Strong attention to detail in audio, colour grading and overall video finishing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight deadlines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience working with UGC, testimonials and creator-led content.
• Experience in health, wellness, fitness, healthcare or D2C brands.
• Basic knowledge of shooting, framing, lighting and camera language.
• Experience with AI-based video and creative tools.
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience creating content for Meta Ads, Instagram and YouTube.

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who understands that good editing is more than just cutting footage.

You should be able to look at a video and ask:

“Why would someone stop scrolling and watch this?”

You should have a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing and visual communication, while being comfortable experimenting with different formats and creative approaches.

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates must share a portfolio or showreel showcasing relevant work, preferably including:

• Short-form videos / Reels
• Performance marketing ads
• UGC or testimonial videos
• Motion graphics
• Brand or storytelling videos
